2020 has been marked by several major events that have shaken the world, notably with the spread of the COVID-19 virus, which has changed our lifestyles.
As a result, Montreal Digital Spring (Printemps numérique) had made the decision to postpone MTL connect: Montreal Digital Week, originally scheduled on-site for May 19-24, 2020, to fall October 13-18, 2020 in a 100% online and innovative format. In addition, MTL connect also hosted ISEA2020, the 26th International Symposium on Electronic Art, as the Creativity Pavilion on the theme: Why sentience? in a virtual format, a great first for an event of this magnitude!
MTL connect carries the vision of a new world, thought under the sign of audacity, favoring the quality and the mix of contents, in order to encourage the cross-fertilization of knowledge and the emergence of innovation.
With this 2020 edition, Montreal Digital Spring has continued its commitment to democratize and support the digital transformation, and to ensure the highest level of influence for the metropolis, thereby contributing to the economic recovery of our ecosystems.
